The Washington, D.C. Summit on Cross-Continental Cooperation 2013
"Future Prospects in Enhancing Continental Cooperation to Secure Political, Economic, and Social Progress"
(Washington, D.C.; November 4th - 7th, 2013)
The recent deterioration of US-Russian relations was made more evident by President Obama's decision to cancel an official meeting with President Putin and by the tense negotiations on the Syrian Crises. These events highlight an urgent need for the International Community to take action to enhance cross-continental cooperation.
This current situation between Russia and the US clearly defines the significant differences of opinion on policies between the world's most influential leaders, thus making it evident that appropriate measures must be taken globally in order to ensure that further development of international inter-connectivity remains secured and sustainable.
Summit Agenda
The "Washington, D.C. Summit on Cross-Continental Cooperation" will therefore explore the ways in which intercultural dialogue and cultural exchange can be utilized effectively in order to achieve a successful cross-continental coalition.
The following issues will be examined and explored in the Summit:
• The Promotion of Democracy and Human Rights
• The UN Security Council and International Law
• The Middle East Conflicts
• International Trade & Global Economic Prosperity
• Intercultural Relations as a Vehicle to Strengthen International Relations
The Summit is operated under the Leadership of:
Speakers and delegates during the conferences will include, among others, heads of state and leading politicians, chief diplomats, leading governmental officials, senior academics, renowned authors, journalists, and celebrated artists.
